Requiem Nurse Dress Update #2

We want to first thank you all for your patience with us through these unforeseen delays. Your support truly means the world to us.
We want you to know we are doing everything in our power to get these pieces to you as soon as possible. We have been in close contact with our manufacturer throughout this whole process, although it has been difficult to estimate solid dates. This order is larger than what both us and our manufacturer are used to, and we are learning through each stage of this process.
The one thing we both refuse to compromise on is quality. We want you to know that although these delays have been incredibly stressful, we would always prefer to deliver a quality product late rather than rush the process and end up with a product we don’t feel 100% confident in.
The dresses have finished production and quality control and are now being pressed, folded and packaged. We are expecting them to be ready to ship to us by the end of this week. As mentioned in our last message, we have decided to switch to a faster shipping method, meaning the shipment should take approximately 7–10 days to reach us once it departs. Assuming all goes well at customs, your orders should be on the way to you around the last week of July.
Although pre-orders are often subject to delays, we absolutely understand this is much later than expected. We truly wish that we had a clearer idea of the logistics behind a large order like this prior to opening sales. This was our mistake, we should have been more prepared to deal with an order of this volume and we apologize.
These pieces were highly anticipated and we understand this situation may be disappointing for you all. We would like to offer compensation for the inconvenience this may have caused, as well as to show our gratitude to you all for taking a chance on us.
- Store credit: If you would like to keep your order, we would love to give you a $15 store credit for future use.
- Partial Refund: If you would prefer a refund in lieu of store credit, we can provide a $10 partial refund on this order.
- Cancellation: If you would prefer to cancel your order now or at any point, simply let us know and we will get you a full refund.

Requiem Nurse Dress Update #1

You're receiving this email because you ordered a Requiem Nurse dress from our second drop (Batch 2).
Unfortunately, we have had some delays with production. We apologize for not reaching out sooner. We wanted to update you as soon as we had a clearer picture.
First, thank you for taking a chance on us. As a small business, pre-orders allow us to keep creating new designs. Your support means everything to us. We know that doesn't make waiting any easier, and we appreciate your patience.
When we announced the estimated production timeline, we based it on our first batch. What we didn't anticipate was how much larger batch 2 would be. We have nearly three times as many dresses in production now. That increase in volume has made every step of production take longer than expected.
That being said, the main cause for delay has been quality control. We identified a few flawed dresses from batch 1 and wanted to avoid the same quality issues in the new batch. We worked with our manufacturer to implement a much more thorough quality inspection for Batch 2. While this has added time to production, we believe it's the right decision to ensure you're receiving the quality you expect.
Batch 2 is currently in its final stage, quality control. As of right now we expect the dresses to be finished by the end of next week. Once inspection is finished and the dresses are packed, the shipment should take approximately 7–10 days to reach us, and we'll begin shipping your orders as soon as they arrive.
We know many of you have already been waiting a long time, and we're truly sorry for this delay. While we'd love to give you a guaranteed shipping date today, we don't want to promise something we can't confidently deliver. As soon as we have a confirmed timeline, we'll send another update.
If you'd prefer not to wait, we completely understand. You're welcome to cancel your order for a full refund at any time. Simply reply to this email with your order number, and we'll take care of it as quickly as possible.
